We are in the northeast corner of Spain in the vibrant semi-autonomous region of Catalonia which has its own distinctive identity drawing on an antcient mix of Pyrenian and French influences which have flourished since the ending of cultural and political repression under Franco.

Situated on the Costa Brava, 15 Kms from the French border and 10 Kms from the coast and the Cap De Creus National Parc which is home to the world famous El Bulli restaurant.

Girona and its international airport is 28kms. Barcelona is 148kms via the A7 autoroute. There are also good train connections to Figueras. Perpignan in France which also has an international airport is 48kms away via the autoroute.

The house is 1km outside the village of Peralada which is 8 kms from Figueras.the major town of the Alt Emporda, famous as both the birthplace and final resting place of Salvador Dali. The town houses the worlds largest collection of works by Dali in the Theatre-Museum.
